This is the my first trip to Ooty the famous hill station in Tamil Nadu. You can go to Ooty by road and rail. The famous Nilgiri Mountain Railway is situated in Ooty (Udagamandalam). You can reserve tickets from any railway station. You got the train to Ooty get down Mettupalayam and take the train to Ooty. The journey is superb. From Mettupalayam to Coonoor they used steam engines. From Coonoor to Ooty they use bio-diesel Engines. The places are visited are Botanical Garden, Pine-Forest, Pykara Water falls & Boating Club, Shootingmedu & last one is Doddabetta. The following pictures are taken in the above places
